Ep19: Fantastic Beasts Review (Spoiler Free & Spoiler Talk)
December 03, 2016 01:22 AM PST
I wanna be the very best, podcaster there ever was. Reviewing movies is my real test, and laughter is my cause. Wait, what? This isn't a pokemon movie?
In this episode, we chose you, relatively unknown screenplay writer J.K. Rowling, and your new movie "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them." And we review this decent first entry into a new series, and hope it evolves into greatness!

Dr. Stranger Things Pt.2
Are there stranger things than Dr. Strange? We think so. One of those stranger things is Stranger Things. Okay, now that we've ensured a word search for "Stranger Things" will bring up this podcast, let's jump right in... through a wall, perhaps... and talk about one of the best netflix original series that isn't by Marvel:

Dr. Stranger Things Pt.1
In this ep. our good friend Garrick returns to weigh in with us on the latest Marvel origin story, Dr. Strange, and things get heavy. It's a good thing we have a cloak of levity to keep us in high spirits!
Listen in as we talk strengths and weaknesses, more time travel confusion, whether the villain is compelling, what makes a true hero, and more! And of course, there's the panda rating. Boom. Relic drop.

It's getting close to gift-giving season, and you know what that means.... It means NOT seeing some movies and using the cash on toys and candy instead! That's right, the fan-favorite "See It or Skip It" is back, as the brothers use their wit, wisdom, and other impressive W words, to help you sift through the good, the bad, and the blockbusters like escaped magical creatures in 1920's New York City!
It's like a list. That gives you things. Like Santa. Only without the personal moral judgement. Because Star Wars Black Series action figures don't buy themselves.

October 26, 2016 10:25 PM PDT
This episode is the heartwarming story of a list of animated films, in a world of overstimulated children and unappreciative adults, which must overcome possible obscurity and onset ADD in order to be seen for the gems they are (or aren’t), or else vanish into the Cinema Nothing like the last kid ever picked for dodgeball. If that kid were a ghost. Who was also a good movie. That no one saw.
The Brothers run down their list of most Overrated & Underrated Halloween-esque animated films - both classics and new - while playing a brand new game called Movie Mad Libs, then give out awards for the All-Time Best, Creepiest, and Most Fun (and have a love-fest for the new master of the “Spooky With Some Heart” animated genre).
We’d tell you who that is, but that would be LAIKA hint.
So you’ll just have to listen - and see if your favorite makes the list... or just read the TIMESTAMPS:

September 23, 2016 01:00 AM PDT
In this episode we are joined by a true friend of the Super Wonder Brothers, one who brings balance to our farce: Mr. Garrick (not J) Hardy, of the "Fly Casual" Podcast! And it was a such a blast to have him on the show.
Garrick fits right in as he uses his expertise to school us on the new villain in Star Wars Rebels, Admiral Thrawn. Then we discuss how terrible spin-off movies tend to be, and whether or not we should have a bad feeling about Rogue One and the Han Solo solo movie. Finally, Secret Alias Man shares with us his second first impressions of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, mostly to hilarious effect.
Also, be sure to stick around for the outtakes... there's a few of them this time!

Thanks DC Movieverse, you've done it again. Much like with our very first episode of the FanBroFriends podcast, we have plenty here to chew on and spit out, because we're talking Suicide Squad.
Big Bro is in rare form, as he lets the hate flow through him for this review, and there's plenty to enjoy about this movie. And by enjoy, I mean, make fun of mostly... except for Viola Davis. She rocked!
